This DVD is the first in a series of “point of view” hammer dulcimer lessons. The camera angle is shown as if the viewer were standing beside me while I’m teaching a song. The ability to read music is NOT necessary!

In the video I will play each song all the way through to familiarize the viewer with the arrangement. Then each song will be broken down into manageable segments. Learning by this method allows a more natural, comprehensive approach to playing the hammer dulcimer that reading sheet music can’t provide.
